There are so many additional events over the four days of the Grand Prix.

The Melbourne Grand Prix 2019

Daniel Ricciardo

One driver the Australian crowd is bound to get behind Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo.

Ricciardo formerly drove for Red Bull but it was announced in announced in August 2018 that he would join the Renault team.

Both spectators and competitors will certainly be interested in how Ricardo performs at the Grand Prix with his new team!

Lewis Hamilton

Motor car extraordinaire and Grand Prix favourite Lewis Hamilton will also be one for the crowd to watch.

The Mercedes driver is a favourite to win and with a long history of taking home the top prize at many international Grand Prix, it’s no surprise!

Sebastian Vettel

Recently, Vettel has had to defend himself against naysayers calling out for his retirement, reassuring fans that he’s not going anywhere!

In fact, he’s behind only Lewis Hamilton in the odds at the time of writing.

Vettel has won the F1 World Championship four times while driving with Red Bull Racing, but now drives for Scuderia Ferrari.

Formula 1 Fan Zone

Fancy getting an autograph from your favourite motor sporting hero?

You can head on over to the Fan Zone and do just that! You don’t need to buy an extra ticket to have access; all fans are welcome.

The Fan Zone doesn’t just provide a chance for autographs: there is also a great bar where you can hang out with your mates and have a drink, and you can also stock up on merch from the Fan Zone Store.

Note that on Thursday only, all drivers and teams will be at the F1 Fan Zone Stage. This is your opportunity to get a piece of merchandise signed!

Heineken Village

Heineken Village provides Grand Prix fans with and opportunity to enjoy live music performance from a plethora of popular acts.

On Friday Sean Kingston will be the first to take the Heineken Stage. Kingston is best known for his 2007 Billboard Topping single, Beautiful Girls.

Kingston’s performance will be followed by LA rapper Kid Ink. He released his first major studio album in 2014, titled My Own Lane.

Heineken Saturday

Heineken Saturday will be an event of its own.

Hot Dub Time Machine will collaborate with a number of artists to provide a night of musical brilliance.

The act is known for producing the ‘best party ever’, a promise they are bound to deliver on because their performance will also feature the likes of Samsaruh and Danmac from Art vs Science.

In addition, the audience will be treated to the talent of artists who need no introduction. Popular Australian artists, Thundamentals, Furnace and Nite Theory will all feature in Hot Dub Time Machine’s performance.

The treats don’t stop there though; there are more surprise acts still to be announced!

Sunday will see Adelaide rock group The Superjesus take to the stage in the early afternoon.

At 6pm the winner of the seventh series of The Voice, Sam Perry will take the stage.

The final act on Sunday evening will be DJ Tay James. The DJ is well known for his songs Netflix, Ghost of Pac and Burnt.

Catch the tram to the Grand Prix
