The AFL first preliminary finals start tonight. The Adelaide Crows and the Geelong Cats square off tonight at Adelaide Oval for a spot in the Grand Final at stake. Tomorrow, Richmond v GWS Giants at the MCG which will be sure to be a crowd pleaser for the 90,000 fans expected to attend. With all teams battling it out to win the premiership it is still anyone’s guess which teams will have the chance to fight it out on Grand Final Day.

Australian Rules Football also known fondly by Australians as ‘Aussie Rules’ originated in Melbourne and came about as a game to keep cricketers fit during the off season. The popularity of AFL has grown to now be the most watched sporting game in Australia.
