** Please read these terms and conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Urban Central are accepted **

All group correspondence must be advised in writing. Urban Central reserves the right to deal with one individual only in the booking process; this will assist in avoiding any confusion or miscommunication. Each group booking is held tentative for a maximum of 14 days. Confirmation of the booking must be advised in writing by the group organiser. A deposit must be made 14 days after placing a reservation to secure your groups booking. Final payment must be paid 28days prior to arrival (4 weeks). If making payments by Cheque or Direct Deposit, please allow an extra 5 working days for the funds to clear. Urban Central reserves the right to release any booking held tentative after 14 days with out prior notice. Below you will find the deposit amount required to secure your groups reservation.

bond
|
A bond of $1000.00 is required from all groups whom stay with us at Urban Central. This is to ensure that any damages that are created by the group to the property during the groups stay are accounted for. The bond may be lowered at the discretion of the Group co-coordinator, Assistant Manager or General Manager of Urban Central only. The full amount for the bond is to be paid via a credit card pre-authorisation upon check-in. This means the funds are held on the card and will be released once a Duty Manager has checked all the rooms upon check-out. All breakages, damages, lost or missing items must be paid for, plus time & effort involved, with the charge made against your security bond to cover replacement or repair costs. If damages have been made to the Property of Urban Central, a final invoice will be issued to you within 10 working days. Please provide details below of your chosen credit card, for bond payment. Please review your credit card limit prior to arrival to ensure you have sufficient funds.

Issues during your stay
|
From time to time items may break or get damaged through normal wear and tear. We will endeavour to repair or replace these items as soon as possible during your stay, however we cannot guarantee the issue will be rectified during your stay as this may be reliant on outside factors, e.g. trades people. You may be provided some small compensation at our discretion. All our rooms are non-smoking.

Occupancy
|
Each dormitory sleeps a maximum of four people.
(Unless otherwise permitted by reception)
Each double room sleeps a maximum of two people only.
Each family room sleeps a maximum of four people.
(Unless otherwise permitted by reception)
Rollways’ can be purchased at additional costs.

Check in / Check out
|
It is a requirement for all groups whom stay at Urban Central Accommodation to complete a rooming list. This is to be sent 28days prior to arrival. This will assist our staff at Urban Central to provide you and your group a fast and efficient check in.
Check in time is 1400. Any rooms that need to be guaranteed for arrival before the normal check in time will need to be pre-registered at your earliest convenience at the agreed group nightly rate. Early check-in's will be subject to availability. Check out time is 1000 hours. Late check outs are not permitted; penalties will apply. On vacating, the rooms are to be securely locked and the keys are to be handed to a staff member at reception.
Upon Check-in each person whom stays at Urban Central Accommodation must provide sufficient photo ID (A current drivers license or passport). For school groups - students are exempt from providing Photo ID however all adults of the school group must need to provide sufficient identification. For each person whom stays at Urban Central Accommodation, is required to pay a $10.00 Key Deposit. This Deposit can be paid in Cash or by Credit Card; this deposit will be refunded on the day of check out upon the return of the room key.

What is included in your accommodation cost?

• Shower towels (Guests are requested to supply their own beach towels.)
• All kitchen utensils (pots, pans, frying pan, tea towels, knives, glasses, cutlery & crockery)
• Iron facilities
• Water, electricity and/ or gas
• Free limited car parking (please call to organize)

Urban Central Accommodation does no accept responsibility for any loss or damage
|
of personal goods on the premises. The venue does not hold them selves liable in the event of acts of God, perils of the sea, air, fire, flood, and explosion, acts of sabotage, terrorism or inevitable accidental breakdown. We are not liable under any circumstances for loss, theft or damage to your property/ belongings, or personal injury. We advise you to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as injury and/ or loss/ damage to your personal belongings.

Goods left at the property
|
If items found and are not claimed within 3 months they will be given to a local charity. If you want items posted back we will do so at your cost.
|
Cancellation
|
All group correspondence must be advised in writing. Changes or cancellations to a group booking will not be accepted over the phone. Urban Central Accommodation does have a cancellation policy. Cancellations will incur the following charges:

More then 3 months No Fee
Less then 3 months but more then 1 month 10% Fee
Less then a month but more then 14 days 50% Fee
14 days or less 100% Fee

Due to previous issues at our venue, please ensure the following guidelines are read and extended to all members of your group.
|
1. Do not interfere with emergency service equipment, thereby endangering lives eg. tampering with fire extinguishers, emergency phones and smoke sensors.
2. Do not cause any damage to or defacement of property eg. spray painting, writing on or marking walls and doors, broken fixtures and furniture
3. Please respect the right to privacy and peaceful enjoyment of all other guests staying at Urban Central, eg. refrain from running up and down hallways, excessive noise, loud music, knocking on room doors of other guests, throwing anything out of windows
4. Do not use lasers anywhere on or around the premises.
5. Do not smoke anywhere except in the allocated outdoor areas.
6. No illicit drugs, to be bought, sold, consumed or carried anywhere on the premises.
7. Observe all Victorian liquor laws while consuming alcohol on the premises.

Whilst we encourage you to fully enjoy yourselves while staying at Urban Central, we ask that you please ensure your group abides by the above guidelines.
